At the event Dr. Steve Packer\, CEO of Montage Health will give an information presentation on "Monterey Peninsula Healthcare What Does the Future Hold?".\n\nDr. Packer was appointed as President/Chief Executive Officer of Montage Health and its related corporation in January 1999. Prior to this appointment Dr. Packer served as Chief of Staff at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (1997-1999) and was Medical Director of Community Hospital's Intensive Care Unit for 11 years.\n\n \n\nDuring his 25-year tenure as CEO\, Packer has overseen the implementation of numerous initiatives to improve and expand access to care\, including the hospital's Pavilions Project adding 120 new patient rooms\, development of the Carol Hatton Breast Care Center\, construction of the Ryan Ranch Outpatient Campus\, and the creation of Montage Medical Group. Under his leadership Montage Health has also expanded access to essential services with the opening of wellness centers in Marina and Salinas\, three urgent care clinics\, the creation of Monterey County's first Medicare Advantage Program\, Aspire Health Plan\, and\, most recently\, the opening of a state-of-the-art campus for its youth mental health program\, Ohana.\n\n \n\nThe Monterey Peninsula Chamber's Quarterly Business Insights Breakfast provides an excellent opportunity to network and develop business relationships while learning from subject matter experts in a beautiful setting.
