About Us

Art Abilities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through creative expression. Our programs provide adaptive art and dance classes, fostering self-confidence, skill development, and social integration. Participants, or Art Abilities Artists, learn art and life skills, develop a sense of self-worth, and gain a supportive community. Our inclusive environment ensures that everyone, regardless of ability, can explore their creative potential. We offer supplies, studio space, professional instruction, exhibition opportunities, and individualized mentoring, creating a unique and enriching experience. We operate 5 days a week, year-round, with additional community events and exhibitions.
