About Us

First Tee of Monterey County mission is to deliver a targeted curriculum of golf & character development, life skills, academic support, higher education, mentorship, and career development. We impact more than 10,000 youth a year in our county.

Our First Tee program is about empowering kids & teens through the game of golf.

The Taylor Center for Learning involves academic programs, educational support and continued life skills learning.

The Pay it Forward scholarship program in conjunction with Cal State Monterey Bay University enhances support and accountability that ensures First-Generation college students succeed at a clip of 80 plus percent graduation rate compared to the national average of 11 percent for First-Generation students.
