The Culcasi family first opened 'Rosine's Restaurant' in 1980. The restaurant was an instant success and Rosine's established a reputation with satisfied customers who enjoyed their delicious house made soups, hearty meals, and sumptuous array of award-winning house made desserts. They are now celebrating over 43 successful years in Downtown Monterey. They have been consistently voted 'Best Family Restaurant', 'Best Comfort Food and Best Desserts' in multiple print publications. Featured on 'Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives', their episode name is 'Stuffed and Twisted', where they prepare their Hearty Beef Minestrone Soup and Lasagna with Guy Fieri. They are proud members of the Food Network family. Rosine's continues their family traditions now in the third generation. Rosine's is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and weekend brunch offering local wine, craft beer and signature craft cocktails.
