After careful review, the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, in agreement with our presenting sponsor, Aera Energy, will be postponing the 20^th Annual Leadership Luncheon scheduled for September 13, 2021 at the Portola Hotel & Spa.  In June, we were encouraged by the direction of the pandemic, vaccination rates, and of business services.  As a chamber we scheduled events, in conjunction with our presenting sponsors, with an understanding that we would be responsive to the business climate should covid variants present a new hurdle. 
 
Thank you for your willingness to participate in this exceptional signature event.  We believe postponing is the correct approach for Aera Energy,  MPCC, and the community. 


Our 20th Annual Leadership Luncheon gives community leaders, local business owners and engaged citizens an opportunity to gain further insight into the current business climate on the Monterey Peninsula.  Thank you to our presenting sponsor: Aera Energy.  An impressive panel of federal, state and local elected officials cover topics such as: new projects taking place in their jurisdictions, new business coming to the region and important issues that have impact on the future viability of our local economy.  We will learn about our local community's response to the pandemic.
