About Us

The Old Monterey Business Association (OMBA) is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing and promoting the economic vitality and community spirit of Old Monterey. The OMBA produces a local dining guide and shopping guide for residents and visitors. The Association organizes and promotes the 4th of July Parade, helps facilitate the number of downtown cultural events throughout the years and hosts the weekly Farmer's Market on Alvarado Street, the largest weekly gathering of people in Monterey County.
