About Us

Bethlehem Lutheran Church started in Pacific Grove in 1925, moving their main facility to Monterey in 1959. The hold weekly, informal, services at Merrill Gardens and the Cottages of Carmel. The parish has been involved in the community as a charter member of I-HELP as well as supporting the chaplaincy program at CHOMP. Bethlehem is one of only two religious institutions in Monterey who are members of the Blue Zones Project. Although it is a small nonprofit compared to many, Bethlehem is slowly growing and full of members with strong hearts and influence hoping to benefit the world around them.
